Kindilo ("we", "us") provides software that licensed child care programs use to run their parent portal, enrollment forms, daily care, attendance, and billing. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use a school site powered by Kindilo.
Information we collect
- Account and contact details (name, email, phone, address)
- Child information required for enrollment and licensed care records
- Forms, signatures, immunization documents, and attendance records
- Photos shared in the parent portal when your program uses that feature
- Payment-related metadata processed through Stripe when you pay tuition online
How we use information
We process data to operate the parent portal for your child care program, deliver verification codes, generate required PDFs, show daily reports and photos you are authorized to view, and support tuition billing configured by your provider. We do not sell personal information.
Photos
When your program enables the photo album, staff may upload photos of children. Before you can view photos, you must sign a separate in-portal consent. Photos are shown only to enrolled families through the private portal — not on public pages.
Service providers
We use trusted subprocessors including Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Google (optional sign-in). Each processes data only as needed to provide the service.
Retention and deletion
Your child care program controls enrollment records. When a family leaves, the program may archive records as required by law. Contact your provider for site-specific retention rules. Platform questions: support@kindilo.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Contact your child care provider first; they are responsible for enrollment decisions. You may also contact us at support@kindilo.com.
